Your First Aid and CPR Training now available through CHA
CHA has partnered with equineU.com to deliver the Certified Horsemanship Assoc. Planning for Emergencies Course online.  The course features first aid for your horse, disaster planning, human first aid and CPR. In addition to the online course, hands-on skills training will be available at the international convention on Sunday, November 2nd, 2008, and may be scheduled at the clinics for groups of 6 or more.  The goal is to make training more accessible to CHA members.  All CHA clinic staff are required to have maintain CPR & First Aid certification and it is receommneded for all CHA members.

How it works:

  1. This is a blended learning course offered exclusively to CHA members.  It includes an online course and hands-on skills training in human first aid and CPR.  The online course price does not include payment for the skills class. 
  2. Purchase the online Certified Horsemanship Assoc. Planning for Emergencies Course, choose CHA Members Only #PFR-2007.
  3. Complete the online course and print your certificate.  You will need to give your skills instructor a copy of the certificate.
  4. Online courses must be completed no more than 60 days prior to attending the hands-on skills class.
  5. Skills classes may be scheduled by clinic staff at your facility for 6 or more students.  Please call 805.929.0921 for more information. 
  6. Pre-registration is required for skills classes.
  7. Skills classes will be available at the CHA 2008 International Convention on Sunday, Nov. 2nd.  REGISTRATION ENDS 10/10/08.
