I have dial-up internet service- what is the best way to get this course?

Download times vary but in general slower dial-up service will make the course slow to load and progress very slowly. For a better learning experience we recommend purchasing the course on CD-ROM. It is the exact same course and a link is provided so you may print a Certificate of Completion. Click here to go to our Café-Press store to purchase the CD.

How much time will the online course take? 

You work at your own pace and the amount of time will depend on your past training experience. The course generally does not take more than 2-3 hours to complete.

What happens after I complete the course?

You have unlimited access to the online course for 1 year. It is recommended you review the course material frequently.

I want to get certified in CPR or First Aid - How can I do that? 

Action Safety Education, a leader in on-line safety training, also offers 2 year certification course in CPR/AED and 3 year certification in Human First Aid. My download stopped in the middle of lesson-what should I do?

You will need to clear your cookies.


What is the refund policy?

          You are purchasing the online training courses and you will have access to the material for 1 year. We do not refund fees for the course material.

Other Issues

My CD did not autorun, what now?

  1. From the Start Menu, open My Computer.
  2. Right click on the CD titled HR First Aid
  3. Open CD
  4. Double Click on the Table Contents file, all instructions and course material will be accessed from this PDF document.

Do I need Adobe Acrobat Reader for this course?

Yes, both the online course and the CD course require Adobe Acrobat Reader.  If you do not have it installed on your computer please go to the link below.

Do I need anything else to run the course CD or online?

Yes, you must have Flash Player which is free.
